Day Four!

GOOD MORNING BOOT CAMP!
I don't know what I've been told,
But Boot Campers are here to get the gold!
Sound off! 1-2....
Sound off! 3-4....
ALRIGHT!

Here's today's plan:
-Strength training if you are feeling up to it.
If you are sore, forego this and have a Day of Rest.
-Put your plan for your tough situation into play OR
journal what you are going to do - and STICK TO IT
-Read your inspiring quote!
-Don't lose sight of the 8 Healthy Guidelines today.
Still get those in, even if you aren't doing your regular routine.

A little note on a day of rest: You need to have a day every week to pamper yourself, give those sore muscles a chance to rest, and let your body adjust to the changes you are making. Usually, I may get some light walking or swimming in, but I don't push myself to get any exercise on Saturday.

I just wanted to mention, in terms of fitness, to listen to what your body says. If your body is feeling achy, maybe do lighter cardio that day, or none.

Here's ways to minimize that achy/sore feeling:
-Always stretch after exercise
-Have a hot bath or shower after a workout (with Epson salts, even better!)
-Drink water while you are exercising
-Don't push yourself FARTHER than you can go. The last 2-3 reps should be harder, but not impossible. If they are, easy off and do another set instead.

You should only be doing the weight training every other day as it is recommended to have a rest day in between to allow your muscles to regenerate the small tears in them after exercising.

Have a wonderful Saturday, don't lose sight of your goals - keep at it, but have some fun too, and let your hair down!
