Week 3: Challenges

Good on you for sticking it with it so far - we are officially half way through our challenge of getting buff for the holidays!


Exercise
Interval Training & Exercise are now coming together as a category. I hope I have shown you through your own results what benefits can be deprived from interval training, so keep it up! This can make all the difference in how many calories you are burning (and AP you are earning!) in a shorter workout.
1 pt per every minute of exercise, +100 pts for more than 180 mins

Tracking
The 8 Healthy Guidelines is now the bonus for tracking.
10 pt per every day followed, 10 additional pts for every day 8 Healthy followed

Strength Training
Beginner
: T Stand, Reverse Crunch, Wall Sit with Bicep Curls, Dumbell Lateral Raises, Skater Squats, Wide Wall Sit with Calf Raises

Intermediate: T Stand, Wall Sit with Bicep Curls, Wide Wall Sit with Calf Raises, Skater Squats, Boxer, Dumbbell Hammer Curls, Dumbbell Crunches

Advanced: Wall Sit with Bicep Curls, Wide Wall Sit with Calf Raises, Skater Squats, Boxers, Advanced Crunches x2, Triceps Curls, Lateral Pulldown
50 pts per workout achieved, bonus 100 pts if done 3x/week

Challenges
*No eating 2 hrs before bed
*Dust off your fitness tape or DVD and take it for a spin
*Drink 2L of water before bed
*Think of 1 positive thought everyday to congratulate yourself with
*Eat a high protein and fibre breakfast every day this week
50 pts per workout achieved, bonus 100 pts if all 5 achieved

CPT SRG'S CHALLENGE:

Let's see you ENCOURAGE someone else (in this challenge or not) to make a healthy change, get moving, or pick up a healthy habit.

>>Here are some ways to do so:

-Take a fitness class with a friend
-Phone and friend to talk to them about your goals & theirs
-Have a mini-goal competition between each other
-Tell someone about your WW success story
-Cook a WW snack and take it to work
(These are just examples, if you think of something else that fits the bill, go for it!)

If you don't have anyone, I can be your pet project. I am slacking. I am highly competitive, and very chatty! I like a good kick in the arse.
